CONFAGRI, a leading representative organisation of Portugal's agricultural sector, has officially joined the Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CCBP) network as its newest Protector member.
🌱 Founded in 1985, CONFAGRI – the National Confederation of Agricultural Cooperatives and Agricultural Credit of Portugal – represents one of the country's largest cooperative networks, bringing together around 400 agricultural cooperatives, federations, and associated organisations. Its primary objective is to facilitate a positive outlook for these entities, fostering stability, profitability and investment opportunities that help them expand their professional activities.
👥Committed to promoting sustainable rural development, innovation, and competitiveness, CONFAGRI's supporting towards Portuguese agriculture goes from strengthening the agri-food sector to representing the interests of agricultural cooperatives at both national and European levels, maintaining a permanent presence in Brussels and an active role in European agricultural policy discussions.
🤝 Represented within the CCBP network by its Permanent Representative in Brussels, Isabel Basto, CONFAGRI joins a growing community of organisations — some of which also rooted in the agricultural sector — dedicated to strengthening economic and institutional ties between Belgium and Portugal.
A warm welcome to the Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, CONFAGRI — we are looking forward to exploring fruitful opportunities for collaboration!
