📱We are delighted to announce that iServices — a valued member of the CCBP Members’ Directory — recorded a reduction of 72 tonnes of electronic waste in 2025, according to last year’s statistics, successfully underlining its ongoing commitment to technological circularity.
Over 1 million customers turned to iServices in 2025, seeking solutions for the repair of electronic equipment, refurbishment and specialist technical support. During the same period, the brand serviced over 360,000 electronic devices – including smartphones, tablets and computers – equivalent to around 986 devices per day.
Compared to 2024, technical services grew by 36%, repairs by 31%, technical interventions by 75% and refurbishment by 52%. These figures reflect the growing demand for solutions that extend the lifespan of devices and reduce the environmental impact associated with technology consumption.
The circularity data recorded by the company highlights the scale and practical impact of its activities and can be summarised in a few simple figures:
Electronic Waste Saved: By repairing, servicing and reconditioning over 360,000 pieces of electronic equipment, iServices has prevented the disposal of around 72 tonnes of electronic waste, the equivalent of five tipper lorries full of waste.
Water Saved: Extending the equipment’s lifespan has saved around 4.32 billion litres of water, enough to fill 1,728 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
CO₂ emissions avoided: It is estimated that around 18,002 tonnes of CO₂ emissions were avoided, equivalent to taking 4,500 cars off the roads for a year.
Natural Resources Saved: Thanks to the measures implemented, iServices has saved around 28,803 tonnes of natural resources, equivalent to the weight of almost three Eiffel Towers or 71 Boeing 747 aircraft.
In parallel with the growth of its business, iServices has also strengthened the quality and robustness of the environmental data underpinning its ESG reporting. The company quantified its 2025 carbon footprint, taking into account greenhouse gas emissions associated with its activities under Scopes 1, 2 and 3 of the GHG Protocol, i.e. direct emissions, indirect emissions and value chain emissions.
The total carbon footprint amounted to 61,909 tCO2e. Almost all of this figure – 99.99% – stems from value chain activities, with the largest share coming from the categories ‘Purchased Goods and Services’ and ‘Upstream Transport’. Emissions associated with electricity consumption, however, accounted for just 0.01% of the total, reflecting the adoption of green energy contracts and the fact that iServices operates a fully electric fleet.
For Scope 2 emissions, using a market-based approach, there was a 72% reduction compared to 2024, benefiting from the transition of most electricity contracts to green energy from April 2025.
These figures reinforce iServices’ commitment to circular practices and place the company at the forefront of environmental solutions in the technology sector, particularly in the repair and refurbishment services. This impact was recognised when the company was named a ‘Sustainable Choice’ for the third consecutive year.
In the words of Bruno Borges, CEO of iServices and the company’s representative within the CCBP network: “In 2025, we proved once again that circularity is not an abstract concept. It is real work, on a large scale, with demand and a measurable impact. Over 1 million customers have turned to iServices. Hundreds of thousands of devices have been given a new lease of life. This is what concrete utility for people means, through a more circular approach to technology. That is why our focus remains clear: to extend the useful life of equipment, grow consistently and strengthen the quality of the data underpinning our ESG management.”
Congratulations to representatives Bruno Borges and Vânia Guerreiro, as well as to the entire iServices team and network! Your constant commitment will continue to reinforce your success and presence, from your Portuguese roots to Belgium and Europe, promoting cross-border growth.
