CCBP congratulates Ana Casaca on her appointment as President of AICEP

The Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CCBP) warmly congratulates Ana Casaca, who took office on 1 October as President of AICEP – Portugal's Trade & Investment Agency, and wishes her every success in this important new role.
With over 20 years of experience spanning innovation, business leadership, technology and internationalisation, Ana Casaca brings an impressive and diverse professional background to AICEP.
A graduate in Microbiology from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, with an MBA from Porto Business School, she began her career in scientific research in the United States before moving into business innovation, holding positions at Grupo José de Mello, Worten and Sonae. Most recently, she served as Director of Innovation at Galp. She is also a member of the European Innovation Council (EIC) Board, advising the European Commission on the growth of European technology companies.
CCBP President Kathleen Laissy has already had the pleasure of meeting Ana Casaca in Brussels.
Furthermore, during the CCBP's recent trade mission to Lisbon, our business delegation had the opportunity to meet with AICEP, reinforcing the importance of closer institutional cooperation to support Portuguese businesses and strengthen economic ties between Portugal and Belgium.
As we enter this new chapter, collaboration, partnership and concrete opportunities for businesses will remain at the heart of our relationship with AICEP.
We look forward to working closely with Ana Casaca and her team in Brussels to promote Portuguese companies internationally, facilitate business connections and investment, and further strengthen the economic relationship between Portugal and Belgium.
Congratulations, Ana Casaca, and best wishes for a successful mandate!
