📌 Avenida da Liberdade, 270, Lisbon
🕒 April 10-29, on weekdays, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Griet Meert, coordinator of the VivaCultura/Viva-Educa association, dedicated to Portuguese culture, invites all members and friends of the Chamber to visit the exclusive exhibition “Fragiel & Sólido.” With VivaCultura as its curator, the exhibition will feature works by Portuguese sculptor Jorge Pé-Curto and Belgian ceramist Mieke Everaet.
With the support of the Camões Institute, the Embassy of Belgium in Portugal, and TMAB Business Events, this initiative aims to bring together the two art styles, with the purpose of reinforcing the aesthetic and artistic value of both, as well as highlighting the ties between Portugal and Belgium.
In this exhibition, sculptor Jorge Pé-Curto shares with the public solid pieces of Portuguese marble that convey a surprising message to us as human beings. Ceramicist Mieke Everaet, in turn, presents pieces of extreme fragility that reflect the genuine form of porcelain in its purity.
The exhibition will be held in the Exhibition Hall of the Camões Institute, located on Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon, between April 10 and 29. Admission is free.
The same way, VivaCultura invite all members of the CCBP and people interested in this exhibition, on participating in the exhibition's vernissage, to be held on April 9. The official invitation can be found below:
