Briefly describe your professional career:

Born and raised in Lisbon, António Buscardini is a 40-year-old communications and media professional. He began his education at the Lycée Français Charles Lepierre and, in 2003, continued his academic path at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He later completed his master’s studies at the Institut d'Études Politiques in Toulouse, France. António has developed a career in journalism, strategic and political communications, and television production. He is the Founder and CEO of Buscardini Communications, a Brussels-based press relations and communications agency focused on strategy and media outreach, particularly with diplomatic missions to the EU and stakeholders in the tourism sector. He is also the founder of Travel Tomorrow, a global news outlet reporting on the travel and tourism industry. Since 2021, António is also the board member of the Press Club Brussels Europe. His portfolio includes directing and producing several television series such as Embarquement, Clin d’Oeil sur le Monde, and 60 secondes, all broadcast on TV5 Monde. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of Brussels Express, and from 2009 to 2015, as Director of Communications at the Assembly of European Regions, the largest independent political network of regions in wider Europe.

Founded in 2019, Buscardini Communications is specialised in strategic communication, media outreach, and public relations, particularly for diplomatic missions, travel and tourism industry, Portuguese entities, and umbrella organisations representing its interests in Brussels. The agency currently has a team of 15 professionals, offering services in multiple languages, making it ideally equipped to work in an international environment. Travel Tomorrow is a global media outlet dedicated to reporting on the travel and tourism industry. It covers travel trends, aviation, rail, culture, food and drink, innovation, and policy developments that shape the sector worldwide. As CEO, António oversees editorial direction, content strategy, and partnerships to ensure Travel Tomorrow informs and inspires a global audience of professionals and travellers alike.

Why did you become a member of the CCBP?

Buscardini Communications officially became member of the Bureau of the Belgo-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CCBP) in September 2020, following an invitation from President Rui Faria da Cunha. For us, the Chamber is a valuable platform to connect with fellow Portuguese professionals and businesses, advocate for Portuguese interests, and create meaningful synergies within the Belgian market. It has proven to be an ideal space to build relationships and exchange ideas.
