HAEDES — The Maverick: Think, Act and Sound Differently

The Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share an inspiring initiative by pIEt Haerens, member of the Chamber and co-founder of HAEDES, whose long-standing connection with Portugal dates back to 1987.

With The Maverick — Think, Act and Sound Differently, pIEt embarks on a four-week walking journey along the River Zêzere.

He will create an independent audio documentary. A creative exploration through sound, silence and the essential questions leaders and organizations often carry but rarely have time to examine. In a time of acceleration and constant response, this project chooses attention over urgency. It invites reflection instead of reaction. Not to offer ready-made answers, but to create space for different ways of looking, listening and positioning in an ever changing world.

We find this journey both timely and inspiring — particularly for organizations navigating growth, sustainability and systemic transition.

The central question it raises is simple: “How much space do we allow ourselves to think, act and sound differently?”
