CCBP Trade Mission 2026 Lisbon & Funchal | 5–9 October 2026

The Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its 2026 Trade Mission to Portugal, taking place in Lisbon and Funchal from 5 to 9 October 2026.

Designed as a high-level business and institutional programme, the mission will bring together companies, institutions and key stakeholders to explore opportunities in investment, innovation, competitiveness, sustainability and internationalisation.

The programme will include dedicated sessions, company and project visits, institutional meetings and networking moments, offering participants a unique opportunity to engage with Portugal’s dynamic economic ecosystem — from mainland Portugal to Madeira.

Participants of the Trade Mission will be lodged at Pestana Vintage Hotel, while in Lisbon, and The Editory Ocean Way, while in Funchal.

• 09:30 - 11:30 — Discussion on Portugal as an investment destination: real estate, wealth preservation and long-term value creation with BNP Paribas and/or AGEAS

• 11:30 - 13:30 — Tour at Unicorn Factory & Network lunch

• 13:30 — Departure from EXPO to Alcântara

• 14:00 - 16:00 — Discussion on the future of growth: economic trends, artificial intelligence and competitiveness at Ernst&Young

• 16:00 - 17:00 — Aperitif at LX Factory

• 18:30 - 21:30 — Reception at Belgian Embassy in Portugal

WEDNESDAY, 7 OCTOBER - Mainland Portugal as a Modern, Innovative Economy

• 11:30 - 12:00 — Visit of WTC with Luciano Montenegro de Menezes, Managing Partner World Trade Center Lisboa and Vice President World Trade Centers Association

• 12:00 - 13:30 — Lunch at WTC

• 13:30 — Departure to NAM (Odivelas)

• 14:00 - 16:00 — Visit of NAM (project supported by DELTA) + talk on Sustainability & Investment

THURSDAY, 8 OCTOBER - Madeira as a Unique European Platform

• 08:30 — Departure from the hotel to Madeira International Business Centre

• 09:00 - 10:30 — Madeira as a European platform for international business and investment - Visit to Madeira International Business Centre + International Shipping Register by SDM

• 10:30 — Departure to Tecnopolo Madeira (University of Madeira)

• 11:00 - 12:30 — Showcase of Madeira's innovation ecosystem, digital economy, entrepreneurship support and university-industry partnerships - AI, tourism tech, blue economy, digital services, gaming, entrepreneurship and internationalisation

• 12:30 — Departure to Funchal

• 13:00 - 14:30 — Lunch

• 15:00 — Visit to Bordal Embroideries Workshop and presentation of the project

• 16:00 — Visit to the Nini Andrade Silva Design Centre (near the Port)

• 17:00 — Visit to the Port of Funchal, followed by a cocktail reception with the President of the Ports of Madeira

• 20:00 — Dinner with Invest Madeira

• 11:00 — Departure to a Miradouro

• 12:00 - 13:30 — Traditional lunch (Madeiran espetada)

• 14:00 - 15:00 — Visit to Vintners Madeira (Madeira wine company in São Martinho). Wine tasting and presentation of the project

• 15:00 — Departure to the airport - Flight to Lisbon / Flight to Brussels
