CCBP's 2026 Summer Reception & Tribute to Rui Paulo Almas

Yesterday evening, the Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce brought together its members and friends for a summer cocktail reception at the Residence of the Ambassador of Portugal to the Kingdom of Belgium.

Kindly hosted by H.E. Ambassador António Costa Moura, the evening offered an opportunity to mark the start of the summer season in a warm and convivial setting, with Portuguese flavours, informal exchanges and a strong sense of community.

It was also a particularly meaningful occasion to pay tribute to Rui Paulo Almas, Director of AICEP in Belux, as he concludes his mission. We are grateful for his commitment, professionalism and invaluable contribution to strengthening economic and institutional ties between Portugal and Belgium.

Our sincere thanks go to Ambassador António Costa Moura for so generously welcoming us to the Residence, to Rui Paulo Almas for his important work over the years, and to all our members and friends who joined us for this special evening.

Events such as this are a reminder of the importance of personal connections in building lasting partnerships and of the role of the Chamber in bringing the Portuguese and Belgian business communities closer together.

They also remind us that Portugal’s political and economic representation abroad are most effective when they work hand in hand, combining institutional presence with business engagement in the service of our country and its international projection.
