Griet Meert, coordinator of the Portuguese culture-centered association VivaCultura/Viva-Educa, invites all members and friends of the Chamber to an event dedicated to Portuguese and Flemish books and literature.
With this Flemish event, VivaCutura aims to highlight a wide selection of books that have a connection with the Portuguese language or Portugal. Here, you will find the Brussels-based bookshop La Petite Portugaise selling new books on a wide range of topics. There will also be a section dedicated to second-hand books.
In addition, the event will welcome two authors: Flemish writer Sara Brechts; and Helder Wasterlain, a Portuguese-Belgian director, illustrator and writer:
Sara Brechts will be present at a book signing session for her novels, which are set in Portugal.
Helder Wasterlain will take part in an exclusive conversation, in Portuguese, with Viva-Educa customers and students. Prior registration is required for this activity via e-mail (info@vivacultura.be).
