CCBP Event - World Portuguese Language Day 2026

🌍 Today, the Portuguese language has the power to foster new opportunities, innovation and connection between continents.

To mark World Portuguese Language Day, the Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CCBP), in partnership with the For Women By Women Foundation (FWBW), is organising a debate at the European Parliament, under the patronage of MEP Carla Tavares, dedicated to the role of the Portuguese language as a tool for international outreach, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Under the theme

“Building the Future in Portuguese: Women, Innovation and Entrepreneurship”,

this event will bring together inspiring voices to reflect on the power of the Portuguese language as a bridge between economies, territories and communities, and on its contribution to the emergence of new leadership and global opportunities.
