CCBP Decisive Talks: João Albuquerque

The Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CCBP) is happy to announce a new monthly initiative. With the aim of strengthening the presence of the Chamber and its members within the European decision-making environment, “Decisive Talks” will bring together the CCBP network with a different policymaker/business representative each month.

For this first edition, the CCBP is pleased to invite its members to a breakfast meeting in Schuman, with the Director for Advocacy and Political Affairs at EuroCommerce, João Albuquerque.

Born near Lisbon, João Albuquerque has a background in political science and international relations, with his studies focusing primarily on international humanitarian law. He served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2022 to 2024 and has recently participated in various research projects at the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS), focusing on remote working and the future of progressive parties in Europe.
