AAVANZ: Participation in "From Widening To Transformation" conference

The Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CCBP) is happy to share the latest news about one of its longtime members — AAVANZ, a company specialised in management consulting, has received an invitation to partner with Unite! (University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering), the University of Lisbon, and other educational institutions across Europe, to host the "From Widening to Transformation: European Universities as Engines of Inclusion and Innovation" conference in Brussels.

Happening the next 17-18 June, this high-level conference is designed to move beyond traditional “gap-bridging” and focus on deep, systemic change. Hosted at the NCBR Centre in Brussels and organized under the umbrella of the Unite! Widening project, this event aims to bring together the architects of the European Research Area (ERA) — from Rectors of leading technical universities to key directors at the European Commission — to turn the vision of an integrated scientific Europe into a reality.

With this in mind, this summit explores how European University Alliances act as operational hubs that don’t just bridge regions, but actively drive regional growth, economic vitality, and strategic autonomy for the entire Union, seeking to foster innovation ecosystems; to enhance knowledge valorization; to promote transnational integration, and to advance strategic policy alignment.
